Lovely friendly staff. Sadly no dogs allowed inside so we ate outside.
Food excellent but so many places nowadays are dog friendly and I think they are missing a trick.

Lovely, traditional style room, good shower, friendly and accommodating staff, great food and in a beautiful location.

Stayed for two nights. Comfy bed, room nice and clean. Very welcoming. Good breakfast. Evening dinner was superb.

A party of six friends enjoyed an excellent lunch today. We all had different meals which were all served at the same time and all piping hot. The young lady who received us, served drinks and waited table was super efficient and friendly. We will certainly be returning, absolutely superb.

Lovely little treasure in quiet village of Mendham. Great authentic pub atmosphere, locals very friendly. Hotel manager ( Mark) and Lisa are delightful hosts. food is good portions, freshly cooked and very tasty. I would recommend staying here .

What a little gem, stopped for Saturday lunch. Greeted by a very welcoming barman. We had the picnic platter for 2, which was delicious , homemade, and amazing value. We'll be going back to work our way through the menu! Well worth a visit.

Nice beer and I believe open all day except Mondays. Also sells food, used to have a bar and a la carte menu but I'm not sure if this is still the case.

Had a pleasant lunch with friends here on Wednesday. Food was tasty and the staff pleasant. Had Guinness 0.0% and Ghost Ship 0.5% (I was driving).

Would definitely recommend. A group of us had a delicious lunch here after walking in the waveney valley. The food was excellent and very helpful friendly staff. We will definitely return.

This place is awesome! Quiet, relaxing and beautiful. The food is out of this world and the staff can't do enough to help. I don't recommend many places, but I do this one - wholeheartedly.

Just popped in for a drink after walk in the area. Seemed pleasant.
